Privacy Policy
What this service is
God Sky Network is a free US-focused service providing live public information about events within the United States such as outbreaks, storms, fires, earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, air quality, rainfall, and cloud cover. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and nothing for sale. Orbital Network operates no satellites or ground stations of its own. It republishes, links, and permanently records the official reports of the systems that do.
What we collect
We do not require accounts or collect sign-up information. The website and social media posts are publicly accessible without providing personal information.
Social media
When you interact with our posts on Facebook, Bluesky, Telegram, or other platforms (liking, commenting, sharing, following), those platforms handle your data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive personal information about you from those interactions beyond what the platforms make visible.
Website analytics
Our update pages (worldhealth.godsky.net, weather.godsky.net) do not use tracking cookies or analytics. Server logs may record standard technical information (such as IP addresses) for operational purposes.
Third-party data sources
Event data comes from US public sources including NASA, the US Geological Survey (USGS), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Weather Service. Satellite imagery comes from NASA. When your browser loads content from those providers, they may receive standard technical information under their own privacy policies.
Voluntary tips
God Sky Network is free. You may optionally send a voluntary tip to support the service. Tips are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) — we do not see, collect, or store your payment details. Tips are not tax-deductible donations, and they do not buy anything or unlock any features or content.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising.
- We do not collect payment information (the service is free).
Changes to this policy
If how the service works changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this policy and post the new version here.
