God Sky Network provides free public information about events within the United States including outbreaks, storms, fires, earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, air quality, rainfall, and cloud cover. Content is published on our website and social media channels. By using the service, you agree to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Maryland.
Free to use
The service is free. There are no charges, no accounts, and nothing is sold.
Voluntary tips
The service is free and always will be. You may optionally send a tip to support it. Tips are voluntary, are not tax-deductible, buy nothing, and unlock nothing. Tips are processed by a third-party payment provider; we never see or handle your payment details.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number right away (for example, 911 in the United States) or contact your local authorities. Do not rely on this service in an emergency.
About the data
- Data comes from public sources such as NASA, USGS, NOAA, and the National Weather Service. It may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and it can change without notice.
- Automated posts are generated from live data feeds. Errors may occur.
- Satellite and map imagery is for reference only and may not reflect current ground conditions.
- For decisions affecting your health or safety, always rely on official local sources.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not use it to break the law, harm others, or disrupt the service.
Data and imagery sources
Event data comes from US public sources: NASA (including EONET and GIBS satellite imagery), the US Geological Survey (USGS), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Weather Service. Works of the US federal government are generally in the public domain; we credit the source agency with each publication.
Representative images may come from Wikimedia Commons and remain subject to their individual licenses (including Creative Commons licenses), with attribution provided as each license requires. Data, map tiles, satellite imagery, and linked material belong to their respective providers and are subject to their own terms. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. The service remains free.
